Asbestos Abatement Worker

Job Summary:
3D Enviro is seeking experienced, safety-focused Licensed Asbestos Abatement Workers to join our growing team. We perform hazardous materials abatement, demolition support, and environmental remediation projects throughout Maryland and Washington, DC, primarily at federal facilities including research laboratories, hospitals, government buildings, and military installations.

Must be available to work a minimum of 30 hours per week, with full-time schedules (typically 40 hours) and overtime available based on project needs. Our projects are primarily located at secure federal facilities, including NIH, military installations, and other government campuses. Employees must be able to obtain and maintain the site access credentials required by our clients.
We are looking for both asbestos abatement workers and asbestos abatement supervisors.
Responsibilities:
- Perform asbestos abatement activities in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Set up, maintain, and dismantle containment systems and critical barriers.
- Operate negative air machines and decontamination units.
- Safely remove, package, label, and transport asbestos-containing materials.
- Wear and properly maintain required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Follow all OSHA, EPA, state, and company safety requirements.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas.
- Complete required documentation and communicate effectively with supervisors.
- Work safely as part of a team while maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism.
Qualifications:
- Current Maryland and/or Washington, DC Asbestos Abatement Worker License (required).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Reliable transportation to project sites throughout Maryland and Washington, DC.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces while wearing respiratory protection.
- Strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and commitment to safety.
- Experience on federal or commercial abatement projects is preferred
Availability:
- Ability to work daytime, nighttime, early mornings or weekends as project schedules require.
- Ability to travel to project sites throughout Maryland and Washington, DC.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain security and site access credentials required for entry to federal government and military facilities where 3D Enviro performs work.
